elite shot-blocking big with NBA-caliber rim protection
In his 2021-22 season at Marquette, Kur Kuath was a defensive wrecking ball, averaging 2.5 blocks per game and ranking third in the Big East in blocks while finishing fifth in Marquette single-season history with 81 swats[1]. He brings length, rim protection, and real vertical pop, plus efficient finishing around the basket; the tradeoff is that he’s more of a paint specialist than a stretch threat. If you need a defense-first frontcourt piece who can change shots and energize a game, he’s your guy[1][2].
