Camerin James is a versatile, high-motor frontcourt guard with proven rebounding and scoring upside
James brings a physical, do-it-all profile that should translate well to winning basketball: after averaging 15.2 points and 10.5 rebounds in 2023-24 at Hillsborough CC, he played 23 games for East Texas A&M in 2024-25 and showed flashes with a season-high 18 points against UConn and six rebounds against Iowa. He is at his best when attacking the glass, defending, and playing with force; the main fit question is perimeter efficiency, since his three-point and free-throw percentages were weak in 2024-25. He looks like a strong fit for a team needing toughness, rebounding, and energy.
