Stony Brook’s Giannopoulou brings a clean shooting touch and versatile guard upside
Ioanna Giannopoulou is a young Stony Brook guard with a compact stat line so far, but the scouting notes point to a real differentiator: a strong shooting release and the ability to affect the game as a multi-area contributor rather than just a specialist.[2][11] In the 2024-25 season, she appeared in 4 games for Stony Brook and shot 100% from the field and from three in limited minutes, which is too small a sample to overread but does hint at touch.[1][2] If you want a guard with modern spacing potential, fundamentals, and room to grow into a larger role, she is a worthwhile developmental fit.[11][15]
