FAU’s Ian Collier is a power-hitting catcher who can change a game in one swing
In the 2026 season, Ian Collier has been one of Florida Atlantic’s most dangerous bats, posting a .297 average, .921 OPS, 8 home runs, and 27 RBI while earning American Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors after a huge series at Memphis. He brings real catcher-bulk at 6-foot-2, 225 pounds, and the standout trait is impact power from the right side; the flip side is that his receiving/throwing has shown some inconsistency, so he fits best as a run-producing, offense-first backstop.
