In the 2024-25 season, Murray State guard Jada Cook played in 32 games as a true freshman, giving the Racers steady rotation minutes with 57 points, 47 rebounds and 21 assists while also drawing praise for smothering defense and postseason reliability. Her calling card is competitiveness: she was a three-time Virginia Class 5 All-State pick in high school and, by her own account, wants to keep unlocking more of her game. The knock is obvious too — perimeter scoring efficiency needs work — but if a team wants a gritty, versatile guard who competes hard and won’t blink in big moments, she fits the bill.
