Brandon Novy’s power bat is starting to pop for NC State
In the 2026 season, Novy flashed real game-changing pop for NC State, with the Wolfpack listing him at 6-foot-5, 235 pounds and noting he hit .147 with 3 home runs in 27 games, while his 2026 summer for Burlington was explosive enough to earn Appalachian League Player of the Year honors after he slashed .394/.512/.672 with 9 homers and led the league in OPS. He’s a big, right-handed infielder with legitimate pull power and a knack for impacting games fast; the fit is obvious for teams that want middle-of-the-order upside, though his college bat still needs more consistency to match the loud tools.
