LIU’s freshman RB brings size, but the early production is still simmering
In the 2026 season, LIU freshman Nathan Gray has logged 15 carries for 35 yards and 1 catch for 4 yards, showing a big-bodied frame at 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds that suggests power-run potential. The early stat line is modest, but his profile hints at a downhill back who can handle contact and grow into more volume as he settles in. Right now, he looks more like a developmental fit than an instant-impact feature back—worth watching if your staff values size, patience, and upside over flash.
