Big-bodied Southern Miss DL with SEC pedigree and room to pop
In the 2024 season, Caleb Bryant logged 4 tackles in limited action for Southern Miss, but the real story is his frame, recruiting pedigree, and upside: the 6-3, 265-pound redshirt freshman came out of Vicksburg as a three-star prospect and a top-10 Mississippi recruit after putting up 78 tackles, 14 TFLs, and 11 sacks as a junior in high school. He’s a sturdy interior presence with flashes of disruption, and the fit is about projecting power, leverage, and developmental growth rather than headline stats—classic “watch the tape, not just the box score” territory.
