Carson Boyer brings left-handed projection, but the stat sheet is still light
Boyer is a **6-foot, 205-pound left-handed pitcher** with a useful southpaw frame and solid strike-throwing baseline, but publicly available scouting/data is limited, so his current value is harder to quantify than most arms.[1] The clearest datapoint in the available summer-league profile shows an **87.5 mph fastball** and a **3.82 GPA**, which suggests a developing, coachable pitcher who likely fits best as a long-term development project rather than an instant-impact Saturday starter.[1] For a staff, he’s interesting if you want a lefty with room to add velocity and polish.
