Jacob Lee is VCU’s offense-tilting catcher with All-Region juice
In the 2026 season, Jacob Lee turned preseason hype into real production, earning A-10 preseason Player of the Year recognition, D1Baseball’s No. 7 catcher ranking, and later ABCA/Rawlings Atlantic All-Region First Team honors[1][2][5]. He’s the kind of backstop who changes a lineup’s temperature: power, run production, and impact at the plate, plus enough defensive value behind it to keep him in the national catcher conversation[6][12]. If you want a catcher who brings middle-of-the-order punch and proven high-end recognition, Lee looks like a strong fit[1][2].
