Power arm with flashes, but Austin Peay still wants more consistency
In the 2026 season, Elijah Underhill has shown real strikeout ability for Austin Peay, including 18 strikeouts in 13.1 innings across eight appearances at one point, but the results have been uneven, with his early-season line sitting at a 6.75 ERA and a 1-2 record. He’s a right-handed junior with a sturdy 6-foot frame and has worked both as a starter and in relief, which gives him roster flexibility. The upside is obvious; the separator is whether his command sharpens enough to turn the raw stuff into reliable innings.
