Veteran lefty Brennan Phillips gives Oklahoma State innings, grit, and swing-and-miss stuff
In the 2026 season, Brennan Phillips has been a versatile and battle-tested left-hander for Oklahoma State, working mostly in relief before taking on bigger starts in key games, including 5.2 innings with seven strikeouts against Alabama State and 8.1 innings with two runs allowed at Texas Tech. He’s the kind of pitcher who can miss bats, compete deep into games, and handle pressure without blinking. The big question for a fit: he looks like a reliable, tough-minded arm with starter upside, though his run prevention has been uneven and he’s not a polished ace yet.
