Big, physical, and built for defense
In the 2015-16 season, Tarczewski was Arizona’s bruising 7-foot anchor, known for rebounding, rim protection, and elite efficiency around the basket; he averaged 9.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks while shooting 57.2% overall. He was also recognized as one of the Pac-12’s top defensive bigs and earlier in his Arizona career battled a foot injury that cost him 4–6 weeks, so durability is part of the eval. If your team wants a tough, low-drama center who screens, finishes, and plays vertical defense, he fits the bill.
