Jamie Rasmussen is giving Miami (OH) a legit middle-of-the-order bat in 2026
In the 2026 season, Jamie Rasmussen has flashed real pop for Miami (OH), including a home run against Ohio and a big RBI day in the April 10 series opener, while the RedHawks’ stat line shows a .245 average with a .737 OPS through 20 games started. At 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, the sophomore infielder brings a pro-style frame, right-handed power, and the kind of run-producing upside that plays anywhere in the lineup; he also arrived with a strong prep résumé, hitting .440 as a senior and serving as a captain, which hints at both skill and edge. If a team wants size, power, and room to grow, Rasmussen is worth a look.
