Versatile 6-9 Forward Grinding Overseas After Kansas State & SFA Stints
Montavious Murphy, a 6-9 power forward from Spring, TX, transferred from Kansas State (where he averaged 5.4 PPG and 3.4 RPG on 42.3% FG in limited 2020-21 minutes) to Stephen F. Austin, posting 4.8 PPG and 3.4 RPG in 2022-23 before graduating and signing pro with Minyor Pernik in Bulgaria's NBL. In 2023/24 Balkan League action, he dazzled in 35.3 MPG across 4 games: 18.3 PPG (46.4% 2PT), 8.3 RPG, 1.3 SPG, and +22.0 EFF—showcasing stretch-4 skills with 35.3% 3PT shooting.
