JayQuan Reid brings untapped upside to FAMU’s receiver room
Reid enters the 2026 season at Florida A&M as a young, high-upside wideout with very limited college production, but a strong recruiting pedigree and a frame that fits an outside receiver role. FAMU lists him at 5-foot-10, 173 pounds and notes he has played in just one career game, with his first appearance coming at Western Michigan in 2024 and no game action in 2025, so the story here is projection, not box-score polish. He was a consensus three-star recruit out of Miami Southridge, where he showed playmaking juice with 1,026 career receiving yards and seven total touchdowns, which makes him an intriguing developmental fit if a team wants speed, growth runway, and upside.
