Sadaya Jones brings scoring pop and two-way bite to UMBC’s backcourt
In the 2024-25 high school season, Sadaya Jones posted 14.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game for Morgantown, and UMBC’s coaching staff described her as a “tough, fierce competitor” who can play multiple positions, get to the rim anytime, and knock down the three-ball. That combo makes her interesting as a physical, versatile guard who can pressure defenses and fit a team that wants edge, length, and shot-making in one package.
