Isaiah Skinner brings grown-man toughness, IQ, and two-way value to USC Upstate
Skinner is a high-IQ, multi-year junior-college-to-Division-I transfer who earned USC Upstate’s 2026 Big South All-Academic nod, a nice tell that he’s more than just numbers on a page. In the 2025-26 season, he showed he can give the Spartans scoring punch in bursts—like his 18-point game in the Big South title matchup—and he’s been praised internally as a “ultimate two-way player” and leader with strong classroom habits.
