Anthony Zollo keeps driving Iona’s offense with gap power and versatility
In the 2026 season, Anthony Zollo has been one of Iona’s steadiest bats, hitting .350 through the early schedule with 14 hits in 40 at-bats, plus extra-base pop and run production from the top half of the lineup[2][14]. He followed a strong 2025 season, when he started 47 games and hit .290 with 58 hits, showing the kind of contact skill and everyday reliability coaches love[1][4]. The standout here is his utility value: he’s a competitive, adaptable senior who brings a high-effort approach, timely hitting, and enough defensive flexibility to help a roster in more than one spot[1][9].
