Fresno State’s freshman righty who already looks battle-tested
In the 2026 season, Jordan Haver has been a useful freshman RHP for Fresno State, working both as a starter and reliever and delivering some high-leverage outings, including a win over Stanford and three scoreless innings to close out Cal State Bakersfield. He’s a 6-3, 190-pound right-hander with a competitive, fill-it-up profile: through mid-May he had 33 strikeouts in 35 2/3 innings with a 3-3 record, and his summer-league All-Star nod suggests he’s viewed as a rising arm with poise and strike-throwing upside. He looks like a good fit if you want a young pitcher who can help now and still has real room to grow.
