Max Ross brings gap power, clutch pops, and steady outfield value for Santa Clara
In the 2026 season, Max Ross has been a productive two-way bat in the Broncos’ lineup, hitting .287 with an .859 OPS, 48 hits, 14 doubles, 4 homers, 35 RBIs, and 17 walks while starting 44 of 48 games; he’s also shown timely impact with multi-extra-base-hit games and game-changing blasts, including a go-ahead homer against Portland. His differentiators are line-drive power, opposite-field damage, and a reliable glove built on a decorated junior-college background, including 2024 ABCA Pacific Association Division First Team All-American honors and a Gold Glove in the outfield. If a team wants an experienced, competitive corner-outfield bat who can punish mistakes and handle pressure, he’s a very real fit.
