JuJu Anderson is a high-upside, long-framed Pitt freshman still in development
In the 2025 season, JuJu Anderson arrived at Pitt as a 6-foot-4, 230-pound freshman defensive lineman with a strong two-way background, including 29 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks at Blair Academy in his final prep season. His best differentiators are length, versatility and upside: he played both defensive end and wide receiver, which usually hints at athletic twitch and coordination that can translate well to the edge. He appears to be a developmental piece rather than an instant-volume producer, so the fit is best if you want a young, moldable defender with real pass-rush potential.
