Myleigh Cooper brings record-setting power and ace-level dominance to Cal Poly
The 2024-25 Gatorade Oregon Player of the Year, Myleigh Cooper arrives at Cal Poly as a true two-way wrecking ball: in her final Scio season she hit an Oregon state-record 23 home runs, drove in 62 runs, and owned a .813 batting average while also striking out 164 batters in 97 1/3 innings. She’s a high-intensity competitor with rare power, big-game production, and proven pitching upside—exactly the kind of player who can change a lineup and a staff. If you want a gamer with elite impact on both sides, she’s your kind of fit.
