Freshman guard Mearah Whitehead brings long-term upside to Jax State
Mearah Whitehead is a 5-foot-8 freshman guard for Jacksonville State, and her appeal is mostly about upside: she arrived from Archer HS with a clean guard profile and enough size to defend, handle, and develop into a rotation piece. Jacksonville State’s roster and ESPN listings show her as an active first-year player, but there are no published college stats or game logs yet, so this is more projection than production right now[1][2][3]. She’s the kind of addition a team likes for pace, depth, and future growth rather than instant box-score fireworks[1][3].
