Ean DiPasquale has emerged as USI’s workhorse lefty with a bat-missing starter’s ceiling
In the 2026 season, Southern Indiana’s Ean DiPasquale has shown legitimate weekend-starter stuff: he logged a seven-inning complete-game shutout against Western Illinois, punched out seven in 7.2 innings vs. SIU, and finished the year with a 3.40 ERA and a .209 opponent batting average. At 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, the lefty brings a sturdy frame, strike-throwing confidence, and enough composure to work deep into games. He’s a good fit for teams wanting a durable, fearless starter who can keep hitters uncomfortable rather than simply overpower them.
