Tough, high-IQ lead guard who scores efficiently and runs the offense
Shahid is the kind of guard you notice because he keeps producing: at North Dakota State in 2019-20 he averaged 18.4 points, 3.0 assists, shot 43.3% from the field and 88.4% at the line, and he had a track record of big-volume scoring before moving on to pro basketball[1][8]. His differentiators are compact but valuable: he’s a 5'11" point guard with feel, shot-making, and enough defensive activity to generate steals, plus a proven ability to handle pressure and carry offense over long stretches[2][5][7].
