Big-frame QB with a state-record prep résumé, waiting for his college breakout
In 2026, Jacksonville State lists Jack Moran as a 6-foot-5, 230-pound sophomore quarterback who redshirted in 2025, so the college stat line is still a blank slate. The selling point is the ceiling: he arrived as the 2024 New Jersey Gatorade Player of the Year after throwing for a state-record 4,513 yards and 47 touchdowns in high school, including a 608-yard, 7-TD game. He looks like a high-upside developmental fit for a team wanting a tall, pro-style passer with proven production, not just a highlight reel.
