NJIT veteran guard Shyquan Gibbs brings steady scoring, playmaking and leadership
Shyquan Gibbs is a proven NJIT backcourt stabilizer: in the 2024-25 season, ESPN lists him at 6.6 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game, while NJIT notes he started all 30 games and finished among the team leaders in scoring and assists. He stands out more for reliability, poise and senior-captain leadership than flash, and NJIT highlighted his late-game winning jumper in a 59-58 victory, a good sign for teams needing a composed, competitive guard who can make winning plays.
