veteran 6-foot-5 righty with strikeout pop and preseason All-SoCon buzz
In the 2025 season, Andrew Stanley gave The Citadel a proven innings-eating starter profile, logging 71.0 innings over 17 appearances and 10 starts with a 5.07 ERA, plus a team-season-high 11 strikeouts in one outing against Western Michigan. He’s a big-bodied, right-handed pitcher who has shown swing-and-miss stuff and enough durability to earn Preseason All-SoCon Second Team recognition for 2026. The fit is clear: he looks like a rotation arm who can miss bats, handle volume, and bring veteran stability, even if the command/results still come with some volatility.
