Alex Pierce brings two-way upside and real-state toughness to CMU
Pierce arrives at Central Michigan as a 6-foot-2, 225-pound freshman IF/RHP with a strong in-state résumé, including Michigan Division 1 All-State Second Team honors in 2025 and a .350 career batting average in high school. He also showed he can impact games on the mound, with Prep Baseball Report noting a 1.62 ERA in 2024 and a state ranking as a top-20 2025 right-handed pitcher. The draw here is versatility, physicality, and a proven winning background—he helped Stevenson win multiple district titles—making him the kind of gritty, multi-use piece coaches love to develop.
