Niki Van Wyk gives Tarleton a steady, veteran shooting punch
In the 2024-25 season, Niki Van Wyk gave Tarleton State a reliable combo of spacing, poise, and bench production, averaging 4.5 points, 1.4 assists, and 0.8 rebounds in 31 games while shooting 32.3% from three and 83.3% at the line. Her calling card is veteran guard play: she can stretch the floor, create a little off the dribble, and has shown she can pop for bigger nights, including a season-high 17 points with five threes against Utah Tech. She also battled a midseason injury, so the fit is best for a team that values smart, experienced, low-drama backcourt depth with shot-making juice.
