Varvel is a 6-foot-3, 183-pound redshirt freshman who arrived at Furman after an injury-rehab delay, which makes his early trajectory worth watching more than his box score. He was a three-time all-region receiver and 2023 prep standout with 44 catches for 744 yards and 10 touchdowns, plus elite track-bred burst as a state 300m hurdles champion. The fit?
