Kaylee McDonald brings hard-hit upside and upbeat corner-infield depth to Ohio
McDonald is a 5-foot-4 junior infielder for Ohio who arrived with a strong prep résumé, including a .449 batting average and .944 fielding percentage at Holy Family, plus 110 hits and 80 runs in high school. Ohio coach Jenna Hall specifically praised her energy, positive vibe, and ability to “hit the ball hard,” while also noting she adds depth at the corners on defense. In her 2025 Ohio season, she appeared in one game and took one at-bat, so the big question is upside and development. She looks like a fit for teams wanting energetic, high-motor infield depth with offensive pop potential.
