Chase Kroberger brings athletic, gap-to-gap upside and plus defense to Alabama’s outfield
Kroberger is a right-handed freshman outfielder for Alabama who profiles as a strong, athletic defender with above-average arm strength, a quick 6.64-second 60-yard dash, and gap-to-gap pop rather than pure slugging power[1][3]. His prep scouting notes highlight a compact, balanced right-handed swing, efficient body control, and aggressive but controlled play in the outfield, while his New Jersey ranking as the No. 2 outfielder and No. 7 recruit underscored his pedigree[1][8]. He has also already shown he can contribute in meaningful moments, including his first career homer for Alabama, but early-college production is still developing as he adapts to SEC pitching[5][8].
