steady floor general who fed ORU’s offense in 2018-19
In the 2018-19 season, Kaelen Malone was a reliable setup guard for Oral Roberts, leading the Golden Eagles with 125 assists and posting a strong 2.2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio, which ranked third in the Summit League[1][2]. He also showed he could chip in scoring, reaching 17 points in a game and producing double-figure scoring early that season[2][4]. His calling card was control: dependable ball movement, poise, and the kind of unglamorous guard play coaches love when they need someone to organize the floor and keep the offense humming[1][2].
