Kade Elam is a high-upside Louisville freshman with real game-changing pop
In the 2026 season, Kade Elam emerged as a key Louisville infielder and one of the Cardinals’ most intriguing young bats, backed by preseason recognition as a Perfect Game top-100 freshman and early-season praise for his ability to hit for contact and drive the ball. He arrived with serious two-way polish from Corbin High School, where he was Kentucky Mr. Baseball in 2025 after hitting .455 with 5 homers, 41 RBIs, 20 steals, and a 0.74 ERA. The fit is obvious: competitive, physical, versatile, and already showing he can handle big moments.
