Gavyn Boyle brings thump and athleticism to USI's outfield mix
Gavyn Boyle’s 2026 USI line has been quieter than his reputation, but the upside still pops: he played 16 games with nine starts, hit .136, and flashed game-changing power with a three-run homer and a season-high three RBIs against Eastern Illinois. He arrived with a strong JUCO resume at SUNY Niagara, where he was an All-American and hit .386 over two seasons with 32 doubles, 19 homers, 113 RBIs, and plus athletic traits that coaches praised for speed and power. If you want a bat with real middle-of-the-order juice and some defensive flexibility, Boyle is still a compelling upside play.
