Nic Jackson brings lefty pop, gap-to-gap juice, and a sneaky high-upside outfield profile for Mercyhurst
Nic Jackson is a 6'1" sophomore outfielder for Mercyhurst whose profile suggests an athletic, contact-oriented bat with real offensive upside; in the 2025 season, he hit .244 with a .619 OPS, and he was listed among the team’s regular outfield options in 2026. Prep scouting described him as a twitchy athlete with quick first-step actions, a top-of-order approach, and solid gap-to-gap ability, plus improving arm strength and middle-of-the-field defense. That mix makes him appealing for a staff looking for a competitive, coachable outfielder who can grow into more impact with added physicality.
