Kendall Pollard was Dayton’s steady, high-effort two-way forward
In the 2016-17 season, Pollard was a reliable frontcourt engine for Dayton, averaging 14.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game while shooting .525 from the field and ranking among the A-10’s better finishers and disruptors. He brought old-school toughness, played with real edge, and gave the Flyers versatility on both ends; earlier in his Dayton career he was also known for strong efficiency and rebounding. If a team wants a physical, experienced forward who competes every possession and can score without needing the offense built around him, Pollard fits the bill.
