UNLV Senior INF Maggie Vasa: Power-Hitting Utility Player with Elite Bat-to-Ball Skills
Maggie Vasa, a 5'5" senior infielder for UNLV, is a high-intensity, super-utility differentiator who brings elite bat-to-ball skills and surprising power to the Rebels' lineup. After leading Southeastern College in batting average (.412), hits (61), and doubles (20) during her pre-UNLV tenure, she has translated that production to the Mountain West, recently hitting her first home run as a Rebel against rival Grand Canyon in May 2026 [4][5]. While her 2025 D1Softball stats show a .135 batting average with 1 HR and 7 RBI in 28 games, her trajectory is upward as a senior with proven intensity and versatility [8]. She is an ideal fit for teams needing a resilient, adaptable infielder who can play multiple positions and deliver clutch offense, though she may need continued development to match her high-school/transfer-college dominance at the NCAA Division I level consistently.
