Abby Gaona brings contact skills, speed, and winning-value versatility for Northern Colorado
Abby Gaona is a useful outfield piece for Northern Colorado because she combines bat-to-ball ability, situational value, and enough offensive impact to help turn over a lineup; in 2023 she hit .444 with a 1.054 OPS in 23 appearances, and recent game logs show she’s still contributing in key moments, including sacrifice-bunt work and run-creation situations. She stands out more as a smart, competitive glue player than a pure power bat, which makes her appealing to teams looking for reliability, speed, and execution.
