Stanford freshman righty Dominic Panella brings a live arm and proven prep pedigree
Panella is more profile than production right now: Stanford listed him as a freshman in 2025 who did not appear in a game, so his value comes from upside, not college stats. He arrived with real buzz as a Preseason Perfect Game All-American, a top-25 California right-handed pitching ranking, and a fastball that has been reported up to 92 mph in showcase settings. The fit is interesting if you want a developmental power arm with strikeout potential and a competitive résumé from Leigh High School and high-level prep baseball.
