Caroline Lau is the kind of guard a team can build an offense around: in the 2024-25 season, she averaged 4.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 6.0 assists in 29.6 minutes, after posting 7.8 points and 5.6 assists in 2023-24. She is a true table-setter, and Northwestern’s notes say she closed her career ranked third in program history with 652 assists. The upside is obvious—vision, pace, toughness, and a pass-first identity—but her shot-making dipped in 2024-25, so she fits best with finishers who can punish the defense she creates.
