High-Intensity RHP with Elite Strikeout Ability for Nicholls
Eli Waters, a 6'0" right-handed pitcher for Nicholls State, stands out in the 2026 season not just for his 35 strikeouts in 22 innings [1], but for his relentless intensity and 'big-thrower' mentality that teams crave. Despite a 5.32 ERA [1], Waters differentiates himself with a max fastball velocity of 88 mph and an elite 2,312 rpm average spin rate from his prep days [4], proving he has the raw tools to dominate. His 18 appearances show remarkable durability and a competitive fire that masks occasional inconsistency, making him a high-upside fit for any team needing a strikeout-heavy arm who can handle a heavy workload without losing focus [2].
