Ryan Burke brings strike-throwing polish and freshman upside to Lafayette’s rotation
In the 2026 season, Lafayette freshman RHP Ryan Burke has shown early promise with limited but useful work on the mound, including a 27.00 ERA across 7.0 innings and a 0–0 record, which suggests he is still adjusting at the Division I level. Burke’s value is less about raw stat line shine and more about profile: a 6-foot-3, 190-pound right-hander with solid amateur credentials, including a 2.20 ERA as a senior at Winchendon and a track record as a multi-year starter. He looks like a developing arm with projectable size, competitive experience, and room to grow into a steadier Patriot League contributor.
