BIG EAST Honor Roll OF with Elite Bat Speed and Switch-Hitting Flair
Ashtin Gilio, a 6'1" 195-lb junior outfielder for the Georgetown Hoyas, is a dynamic differentiator who earned BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll in March 2025 after slashing .500/.565/.900 with 10 hits, 2 HRs, and 9 RBIs in a five-game week. His true switch-hitting ability (S/R), explosive bat speed, and twitchy athleticism make him a rare offensive weapon who thrives under pressure—evidenced by his 0-strikeout, .774 hitting streak in high-level prep play. While he started 19 of 39 games in 2024 with a .273 average, his 2025 breakout shows rapid growth in intensity and consistency. With 19 extra-base hits and 19 stolen bags in his prime prep season, Gilio brings elite speed, power, and a fearless mindset. He’s a high-fit prospect for teams needing versatility, speed, and a left-right offensive threat who plays with fire and intelligence.
