Lawson Rice is a 6'6" freshman guard at Western Kentucky who arrives with a reputation as a high-production all-around scorer and rebounder, averaging 18 points and 10.7 rebounds while shooting 61% from the field and 41% from three in high school. That combination of size, perimeter shooting, and board work makes him a versatile fit who can create matchup problems on both ends. He looks like the kind of long, physical wing-guard who can add toughness, spacing, and upside as he adjusts to college pace.
