MAAC’s top bullpen arm: Andrew Damiani brings late-inning strikeout stuff and real closing polish
In the 2026 season, Niagara right-hander Andrew Damiani was one of the MAAC’s best relief weapons, earning MAAC Relief Pitcher of the Year after posting 11 saves, a 2.60 ERA, a .98 WHIP, 50 strikeouts, and a .173 opponent average in 45.0 innings. He’s a true leverage arm who attacks the zone, misses bats, and has the temperament to finish tight games; Niagara trusted him in high-pressure spots all year. If you need a late-inning stopper with proven conference-level production, he’s exactly the kind of arm worth caring about.
