Ameer Jackson brings shot-making upside and usable guard minutes for Sam Houston
Jackson is currently giving Sam Houston a steady scoring option from the backcourt, averaging 11.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 2025-26 while playing 24.8 minutes per game, but his 32.4% field-goal mark suggests efficiency is still the swing skill.[2] At his best, he adds instant offense and has shown he can produce in stretches, including an 18-point outing with four rebounds, three assists, and a block against St. Thomas (TX).[1] For a team, he looks like a fit if you want a guard who can create offense and accept a role while polishing consistency and shot selection.[1][2]
