JC Spinosa is Canisius’ early-2026 spark plug at the top of the lineup
In the 2026 season, JC Spinosa has been a legit table-setter for Canisius, opening hot with a .417 average over his first weekend and ranking among the MAAC leaders in OPS, runs, hits, RBI, and total bases after that stretch; he also earned MAAC Player of the Week honors twice in 2026. He brings leftfield-to-infield versatility, a contact-plus-gap-power profile, and a knack for delivering in big moments, including clutch two-out RBI work and extra-base damage. If you want a versatile, productive bat with some juice and competitive fire, he’s easy to like.
